luxury tower Apartment, Tel Aviv

Planning and Design | 120 m2

I accompanied the owners of the apartment even before the purchase, during the deliberation stage between different apartments that were offered for sale in the tower.
The fire fell on a 5-room apartment on the 42nd floor.
The apartment faces west, to a wide view of the sea and the city. Already with the first visit it was clear to the owner and me that we wanted to emphasize that it is an island of calm and pleasantness in the busy volume.
Every design choice, therefore, was made with the aim of creating harmony in each of the apartment's spaces - and a relaxed flow between them. We achieved this goal, among other things, by ensuring the consistency of the finishing materials in the public spaces, the children's rooms and the parents' room. The floor, for example, is made of European oak (Strife), which is also used in some carpentry items (for example, the cabinet handles in the children's rooms and the surfaces in the work corners).
The public area includes a living room that connects to the balcony and creates two accommodation spaces, indoor and outdoor, as well as a kitchen for which finishing materials were chosen in a warm champagne hue. This shade changes during the day in accordance with the changes in external light and interior lighting.
The children's rooms were designed with ease of storage and arrangement in mind, as were the bathrooms.
In the parents' bedroom, the back of the bed separates the common space from the closet. This is how a space is created that allows both privacy and being together. On the wall of the bedroom, there are long, narrow mirrors that reflect the city and bring a little of the outside in as well.
Mirrors (round) were also used to cover the wall in the entrance hall to the house, and guarantee that the view of the city will envelop the members of the house even in the silence between the walls, facing the sea.
