Yael Hirsch Spiegel owns a studio for planning and design. She holds an M.A. from the School of Design and Innovation at the College of Management Academic Studies (The Collman), Rishon LeZion.

During her years working at leading architecture firms in the country, she was also a member of the founding team of Tel Aviv Port and an academic faculty member in the Department for Interior Design at the College of Management Academic Studies. She has been planning and designing houses and apartments for a decade. Her work emphasizes the changing needs of all members of the household.

“The way I see it, planning work is realized on the seam between the client’s dreams, the potential of the space and the inspiration I get from the interaction between them. My professional experience allows me to understand the space and enables me to transform the clients’ needs and desires into a language of building, utility and flow. I believe that the space we inhabit defines us. We shape it and it shapes us. In my opinion the architectural achievement is to create a harmonious space. A quiet, nourishing space that contains those living in it. I have planned apartments and luxury homes, offices and museums, visitor centers and exhibitions. This experience has taught me to create a personal dialogue about design with each client and space.”

Work on each project includes consolidating a design language, preparing work plans, managing bids to constructors and craftspeople, supervision and personal selection of the finishing materials.
