Apartment in Hod HaSharon

Planning and Design | 110 m2

A TAMA 38 project for a couple with one cute baby began in 2017 and was delayed during implementation. It finally ended in 2023, with the family raising three wonderful children.

The plan for the five-room apartment was to divide it into two spatial areas: a shared area (living room and kitchen) and a private area (bedrooms and bathrooms). The division axis is the corridor in which we placed two walls. One wall, ending at the dining table, outlines the shared area and is also an aesthetically pleasing decorative element. The other wall charts the boundaries of the private area while also serving as the side of a storage closet in the wide corridor, whose non-standard dimensions are intended to give a warm, inviting feeling when entering the bedrooms. The color palette also sharpens the distinction between the private and shared areas. The apartment is white with warm-colored elements that exude a pleasant, cozy feeling. While each bedroom has its defining tone, the central elements in the shared space – the kitchen worktop, the kitchen table and the sofa – are all a pleasing gray tone.
